FINAL FINAL V4. Next I focus on updating the main book with all this. 100 pages is too many pages of errata.

CHANGELOG

Most italics comments on previous changes have been removed.

MAJOR CHANGE: Armor Rework. Armor now triggers automatically the first time you take damage each turn, and reduces the damage you take by 3. Once spent, it cannot trigger again during that turn, unless it is somehow regained.

MAJOR CHANGE: HP Overhaul. Fights were too short, so the HP value per health bar is increased by 50%. Some other changes were made to account for this, including increasing the damage dealt by Tests, changing how X is calculated for Punks, adjusting the Shield Cap of various cinematic weights, gaining HP on level up, and reducing the number of bonus dice gained by leveling up.

MAJOR CHANGE: Trickster Rework: Abilities unchanged, but all Styles have gained additional ways to interact with the Trickster Ability. As the most unloved archetype among fans, I wanted to give them more interesting tools to play with.

MAJOR CHANGE: Underdog Ability Rework. Now gains Luck Tokens, a rare token that can be used as a stronger version of any basic token.

VERY IMPORTANT CHANGE: Added a little guy to all the Forms.

Advancement: Reworked the Bonus Die, added a new HP boost, changed Mastery into something actually reasonable. Improved wording and formatting all throughout. Bosses now have a different Bonus Die progression than everyone else.

Super Moves: Color change. New colors are more consistently applied, and also prettier.

Tests: Now deal more damage.

Cinematic Weight: HP values adjusted, Heal Values tweaked, Shield Caps implemented.

Put It Out! Basic Action: Initial cost is now 1+.

Obstacle Targeting: New section, clarifying and consolidating existing information.

Super Tokens: Tokens granted by Super Moves. Cannot be discarded, duplicated, stolen, or changed into other tokens.

Color Coding: Updated Archetype/Build Purple to a brighter purple.

Builds: Added Bulky Build.

Blaster Form: Some small nerfs. Extra targets very strong.

Dance Form: Total rework, to work with a more varied pool of possibilities. Increased combo potential, while changing its free pull into an extremely cheap unlimited use Token Action instead.

Iron Form: Given an extra Ability to gain 1 Iron token when your Armor is triggered. A small buff to help it through the Armor rework.

Vigilance Form: Bow Down gives an extra Weakness Token now.

Flametongue Alpha Super: Burning tokens given reduced to 6 (was 8).

Phantom Delta Super: Total rework.

Poltergeist Tokens: Changed the number-boosting option. Can no longer increase damage numbers, but can increase multiple different numbers now.

Punk Alpha Super: No longer gives a Challenge token.

Punk Delta Super: Initial hit is now 3 damage (was 4).

Punk Abilities: Adjusted the value of X.

Flashy Style: Show Off reworded / slightly reworked.

Patient Style: Total rework. Was too good of a prep style, while also being incredibly solid defensively. Now replaced with a defensive style that buys time for your allies.

Elder Style: X = 5

Caged Style: Gained a Token Action to give Fatigue to all adjacent enemies.

Mysterious Style: Ability reworked. Now gives Armor while in Fog.

Illusion Style: Ability now triggers when a Copy is destroyed. Gained a Token Action to place a Copy.

Whip Style: Grapple Hook is now also a Token Action, so you can use it as an escape tool.

Underdog Delta Super: Gives Luck tokens instead of initial pile of basic tokens.

Underdog Abilities: Now all about Luck Tokens. Also grants Slip Up token action, letting you take damage to move farther.

Winterblossom Alpha Super: Now gives only 6 Weakness tokens (was 8).

Crystal Style: Splinter now only damages one enemy adjacent to the Copies it places, not all enemies.

Precision Style: Replaced with Heartless Style. Very similar functionality, as a Style that tears through defenses, but uses different mechanics to get there.

Blur Super Move: Slight number adjustment; Rapid Strike effect adjusted.

Tank Super Move: Reworked for new Armor rules.
